Montepulciano
On September 1, 2010 at about noon we landed in Florence, rented a car and drove away from the city.
Our goal was Montepulciano, a southern Tuscany hill. Tuscany is a small region
so we expected the drive to take no more than 2 or 3 hours.
On the way to Montepulciano we had a very nice lunch at a road side restaurant and also
became completely frustrated trying to find our way on small roads to our destination. Nonetheless we
did arrive that evening at our B&B near Montepulciano. The next day we visited this interesting hill town.
